Welcome to my page of alternative Lord of the Rings books for the The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey Strategy Battle Game by Games Workshop!! This project is completely NON-commercial, fully guarded by Fair Use Doctrine and non-American equivalent doctrines, and aims to bring back many of the discontinued troop types from the old & Nostalgic Legions of Middle Earth expansion book while still accounting for the official troop types that the Citadel Design team actually makes models for!
The books will be written one at a time and will be released simultaneously, file upload widget permitting. However, I should let all know the books are Completely Unofficial and are NOT compatible with Games Workshop-hosted events like Games Day and Armies on Parade. Furthermore, I require ALL who want to use my source-books instead of the Official Ones to purchase a LEGITIMATE copy of the The Hobbit Rules Manual if you want to have a clue what is going on in these unofficial books - NO TORRENTS AND NO OTHER FORMS OF ACTUAL COPYRIGHT THEFT!! I will even ask you for an NON-edited photo of your receipt; that I may be certain your copy is legit and actually ask you which source-book or source-books you want.
In the end, these unofficial source-books will feel like one or more tremendous rewards to you for getting a legit copy of the rules.
If you are worried about expenses, then The War Store offers it at 20% discount and/or you can Google "Games Workshop Hobbit Rules Manual" and look for the thing for less than Games Workshop website price at other discount retailers. In fact, War Store has almost every Lord of the Rings product, Hobbit product, Paints & Tools product, and Gaming product you can find at the War Store site but at 4 cents to every 5 cents charged at the Games Workshop website. For an off-topic mention, it even charges 4 cents for Warhammer Fantasy products to every 5 cents that Games Workshop charges! Just ask The War Store for a copy of their product list for their exact stock ;-)
